I am a high school student. I want to be a photojournalist or fine art photographer... still trying to decide but I've got some time. I am hoping to go to school at Rochester Institute of Technolgy in New York.

Right now I like taking pictures of flowers... normally pink flowers... also my sister, or just of myself... whichever is ready at the time...

I belong to a camera club at a studio in my town... We meet once or twice or month and it is a ton of fun!!

My favorite photographers are Nick Brandt and Robert Cappa.
I really like street photography... It's just very real and not posed but its still perfect... I would like to try to some myself someday... once I get over the paranoid feeling that someone might come up and punch me in the face if they think I'm taking their picture...

I love just going out in my back yard with my ipod and camera to take pictures of the trees/flowers/clouds... I've had to have taken a picture of everything in my yard from every angle at least 100 times... But that's what I love about photography- no matter how many times you take the picture you will never have two that are the same. Normally I listen to Avril Lavinge, AC/DC, Simple Plan, Hellogoodbye and Linkin Park...

I guess that's all I have to say right now... But I am very glad to have joined this site and can't wait to get started..
